What is an adventure?
An adventure is a unique oppurtunity for children and adolescents with life threatening illness and their families to spend some quality time together in a fun-filled, "kids" atnosphere, group setting outside the hospital.
Adventures Mission Statement
Adventures For Wish Kids is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization that provides continuing support and lasting memories for children and adolescents with life threatening illness and their families.
Adventures For Wish Kids helps these children and their famalies by providing oppurtnities:
- network with other families with similar problems and find the best way to deal with them
- support each other emotionally
- escape their problems for a short time
- enjoy life in a more meaningful way
